“Dolomites”

I had an email today from Leonardo and he is sharing some of his images from his local area the “Dolomites” many thanks Leonardo.

Hi Rob,

some pictures of the fabulous flight of some years ago.

Here we’r used to fly on high mountains and strong condition,but in that september aerological condictions were incredible:not so strong,but profitable a lot!

In mountain we usually fly in Thermal conditions and when at the top of thermal you start for a nice and quiet cross to reach the next thermal.

Sometime you find one layer of lovely air,no turbolence and the glide flies easily with zero descent for long time,a “Nirvana” where you can look around and watch the long chain of high mountains (over 2000mt) running beneath your arness…
